Eastern Illinois A.B.A.T.E Meeting Minutes
January 9, 2022
Chuck Carrington called to order the regular Chapter meeting of Eastern Illinois A.B.A.T.E at 1:00 PM on January 9, 2022 at Shooters Bar & Grill, in Rantoul Illinois. All Officers were in attendance except Mindy Rosenbeck, Greg Cler, and Sheppy Cler.
There were 16 members present.

Secretary’s Report – Read by Deanna Zehr and accepted.
Treasurer’s Report – Read by Jamie Eaker Nov and Dec. reports. Ending balance on 12/31/21 $3578.87 CD Balance $5100.35
State Representative’s & Legislative Report – No Report
Activities Report – Read By Jim Kiser. Up coming events is the Feb 19 Broomstick at Shooters sign in 11-1 $5 to enter starts at 1. March 12 is the second Broomstick at One Corner Pocket. Sign in 11-1 $5 entry fee. Yesterday was Screw Your neighbor. Cancelled due to weather.
Safety and Education Report – Read by Mike MaHorney. Class at Central High School Feb 14 no other classes scheduled.
Membership Report – Read by Jim Kiser. Currently we have 134 members plus 5 renewals that have been sent in. Plus 1` that I just got in the mail so that is 141 at this time. 137 last month, 146 a year ago. So we are going in the right direction.
Public Relation’s Report – no report
Products Report – Read by Bill Babb. Profit from last year $1390.10
Special Reports: None
Old Business: Jim Kiser set up Bowling Tournament at Westville American Legion for April 9. $15 to enter 11 to noon sign in Will be a band that night.

Announcements and Correspondence- Donna Mills has Bike raffle tickets . Terry Baker has food drawing tickets. Broomstick and ABATE Swap meet flyers available.
Alan Zehr made a motion to adjourn. Donna Mills 2nd and motion passed.
